At the new “Frenchified” Henry’s on Jog Rd. in Delray, any of the popular American favorites from the original menu remain, and you’ll find them on the Happy Hour (4:30-6) and Sunset (4:30-5:30) menus. The main Dinner menu begins with Starters that include Henry’s popular customer favorites, Magical Split Pea Soup, sweet and spicy Bang Bang Shrimp, and a variety of Flatbreads.

Most starters are undeniably French-influenced. French Onion Soup is gratinéed with Gruyere cheese; Escargots Tradition are roasted in garlic butter and sprinkled with parsley; Truffle Stuffed Brie is served with a sweet apple condiment. Popular Mediterranean-influenced apps such as Crispy Calamari and Burrata & Tomato are offered as well.

Main Course Salads continue Henry’s tradition of big, generous bowls. The crowd-pleasing Mediterranean is Greek-styled, with Feta, olives, roasted red peppers, chick peas and eggplant “cakes.” The classic Cobb Salad combines grilled chicken paillard, hard-boiled egg, avocado, Applewood bacon and bleu cheese. A new French addition, the Niçoise, is iconic, composing tuna, green beans, tomato, hard-boiled egg and black olives on Romaine lettuce, drizzled in red wine vinaigrette.

There are numerous great entrée choices from both the land and the sea. Look for more of that French influence in the offerings, which we’ll discuss in the next installment!
