Florida for Boomers
It’s rare for readers to ask me about communities in specific counties in Florida, but for whatever reason, Palm Beach County is an exception to that rule.
Some of the most popular towns and cities in Palm Beach County include Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, and Boca Raton.
Palm Beach County is the largest county in Florida by area, has 47 miles of coastline on the Atlantic Ocean, and in my estimation has more 55+ communities than any other county in Florida.
That said, most of the 55+ communities like Century Village and Kings Point were built in the ’70’s and ’80’s, and if you are like most of my readers, you’re looking for much newer communities.
Luckily for today’s modern retiree, there are still some great 55+ communities currently being developed in Palm Beach County.
