Eddie V’s Prime Seafood in Mizner Park is posh, dressy, a throwback. Get out the jewelry and little black dress! The lively bar scene unfolds in the V Lounge, where live music plays nightly. The mindset here is indulgence: Think Champagne, six varieties of oysters, caviar, tableside center-cut Filet Mignon Steak Tartare… presented with flourish.

Kick off with Royal Ossetra caviar from renowned provisioner, Petrossian with crème fraiche and warm blinis; Point Judith (Rhode Island) Calamari, tempura- battered and wok-seared with carrots, scallions and cashews atop crispy rice noodles; or must-have Ahi Tuna Tartare, an “Aha” experience: Hand-diced sushi-grade tuna is seasoned with Sriracha, sesame oil and curry oil, molded onto an avocado base, finished with Asian chili vinaigrette, mango puree and citrus, served with crispy lavash. Wow!!!

Entrees include Chilean Sea Bass, steamed Hong-Kong style; broiled cold-water Jumbo South African Lobster tails with drawn butter; marbled prime bone-in NY Strip and ribeye; and Australian lamb chops. Add a giant double-baked potato with an avalanche of Petrossian Royal Baika caviar and crème fraiche; or mashed potatoes, whipped fluffy with aged white cheddar, topped with butter-poached Maine lobster claw meat and set in a moat of lobster butter. Desserts are over the top. Try Bananas Foster Butter Cake, flambéed tableside to richly caramelize the bananas.
