At Coolinary and the Parched Pig (originally Coolinary Café), husband and wife team Tim and Jenny Lipman have created an eclectic restaurant and tapas-style wine cafe focused on seasonal ingredients from responsible local farmers.

Tim, raised in Central Florida, developed his love for food watching his grandmother grow her tomatoes and raise her pigs. Her Southern-Italian farm-to-table influence infused his Southern-American fare. Tim attended Florida Culinary Institute while working on Palm Beach Island, mastering the skill of butchery and expert line service. Degree in hand, he joined Jupiter’s popular Food Shack, then became Executive Chef of Jupiter’s well-known Leftovers Café. Four years later, in 2012, Tim and Jenny opened Coolinary in Palm Beach Gardens.

In 2017, another couple, Jeremy and Cindy Bearman, opened Oceano, their first restaurant as husband and wife, in Lantana. They had worked in well-respected kitchens for years under top chefs — Daniel Boulud, Joel Robuchon, Jean Georges, and Alfred Portale. Cindy’s post as pastry chef at Jean George’s acclaimed farm-to-table ABC Kitchen helped earn it James Beard Foundation’s “Best New Restaurant. In 2023 the duo earned the Foundation’s semi-finalist regional nomination for “Best Chef – South” for their work at Oceano. And just three months ago, the duo relocated Oceano from its cozy little (but much too small) bungalow in Lantana to a large contemporary space they designed on Lucerne Ave. in Lake Worth Beach.
